The collective 3.6 people who know I exist on this site may have noticed I haven't been around for a few months. There's a story behind that. I have a bad habit of never finishing things; I do my best, but always get distracted by another endeavor. So one day I decided I would buckle down and work. Even for the... not-so-mainstream stuff this account was created for. Ultimately, anything I hoped to post here was just practice and stress-relief, but I did keep in touch with a few people through this account - I even promised a favor to more than one of them. There seems to be an obsession with liking stuff. Anyone noticed? Youtubers clamor for Likes and Subscriptions, social network addicts strive for a never-ending list of friends and followers. Do they really contribute anything? I mean, they all have their uses and their places, but does clicking a thumbs-up contribute any to the artist? Personally, I prefer to comment - tell the creator what I really thought of his or her work. I like to tell them what impressed me or what could be improved. Hello! This is my first journal, I hope of many. I don't have a particularly high profile right now, which is how I like things, but the DA community is such a brilliant bunch of people and I simply must be a part of it at some point.
